ON-LINE Introduction to Entomology

Our most popular course.

This 4 week course will introduce you to the study of insects (Entomology) and will give the student a valuable understanding of the subjects of insect classification (Week 1), insect ecology (Week 2), collection methods (Week 3) and preparing and preserving an insect collection to a stage where it can be presented for scientific study (Week 4).

Classes will be delivered each Thursday (Class 1) and Friday (Class 2) between 7:30-9:00Pm via ZOOM Conferencing Software.

NOTE TO POTENTIAL STUDENTS: This course (CVRIC-10M) is a required unit for students wanting to undertake the Entomological Technicians Course Certificate.
